Speaker: Marcel Ricciardelli
Bio: Mr. Ricciardelli has management responsibility for environmental underwriting
operations globally and leads the industry specific practice groups. Marcel drives XL
Insurance’s commitment to our customers with innovative products and high quality
service by maintaining a creative culture and focused approach to risk evaluation,
underwriting and service. With over 15 years experience in the environmental insurance
industry, Mr. Ricciardelli has held a variety of underwriting management and product line
positions at several companies with responsibility for developing and underwriting all
types of environmental insurance programs including pollution legal liability, remediation
stop loss, contractor pollution liability, professional liability and alternative risk transfer
products. Marcel Ricciardelli received his bachelor of science in Industrial Engineering
and Operations research from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is a board
member of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Brownfields Association

Speaker: Krista Glenn, Senior Vice President, Specialty Claims, ACE USA
Bio: Krista is the Senior Vice President in the Specialty Claims department at ACE USA.
Prior to joining ACE USA Claims in January 2004, Krista was Assistant Vice President,
ACE USA Major Claims. She spent eight and a half years in the Major Claims department
of Brandywine Holdings handling asbestos, toxic tort and environmental claims, and
declaratory judgment actions. Prior to ACE, she handled pollution liability and
environmental claims at AIG. Krista is a cum laude graduate of Seton Hall University and
Widener University School of Law. She is admitted to the bar in Pennsylvania and New
Jersey.
Topic: “Claims Scenarios" - Last year this was one of our most popular speaker topics.
Krista will be reviewing various claims scenarios that include some new, emerging
exposures.

Speaker: Jeff Packard, Assistant Vice President of PMA Captives Operations
Bio: Jeff has over 28 years of expertise in the insurance industry, with an emphasis in the
marketing and sales of alternative risk transfer products coupled with an expertise in the
underwriting arena. Currently, he is an AVP for the Captive Division of The PMA
Insurance Group, a multi-lines property and casualty carrier with a specialty in workers’
compensation. Since 1990, Jeff has worked in the alternative market area, including
serving as Senior Regional Vice President for Mutual Risk Management, a Bermuda-
based company that specialized in providing for Fortune 500 companies, captives and
rent-a-captive solutions for their Insurance needs. He continues to teach, presenting
Underwriting and Finance classes for insurance professionals, as well as Community
Colleges specializing in Risk Management Curriculums. He also does public speaking
engagements throughout the Insurance Industry.

Speaker: Vince Phillips
Bio: Vince has lobbied on behalf on Pennsylvania's insurance producers since 1989,
having served the PA Association of Life Underwriters (now known as NAIFA-PA), the
former Independent Insurance Agents of PA (the Big I) and the PA Association of Health
Underwriters. He has lobbied on a wide range of insurance issues including Workers
Compensation, privacy, producer licensing, health reform, banks in insurance etc. His
firm, Phillips Associates, offers more than 70 approved CE courses. He has Washington
DC experience including trade association work and service in the Reagan
Administration and on President Reagan's Transition Team in 1980.
Topic: Vince will present information and analysis on the emerging shape of the Obama
Administration's approach to solving the Nation's economic woes and on congressional
interest in regulating insurance. This program date will also see re-introduction of
significant legislation governing Flood Insurance, the E&S market, and optional federal
chartering. Expect an interesting and lively program.

Speaker: Kevin Henry
Bio: Kevin has spent more than 15 years working in the international risk assessment
and insurance field. Kevin worked domestically and abroad as an international risk
assessment and insurance specialist. His experience includes consulting with U.S. and
foreign-owned multinational firms in developing risk management plans to protect
employees, property, and operations exposed to various international risks.
Currently, Kevin is a Vice President for Hiscox’s Global Response Division, specializing in
Kidnap, Ransom, and Extortion insurance.
Kevin is a U.S. Navy veteran and holds a B.S. in Economics from West Chester University
and a M.B.A. from Wilmington University. He holds a certificate degree in Terrorism and
National Security Management from Kaplan University and is a graduate of the U.S. State
Department’s Security Overseas Seminar and the FBI’s Citizen’s Academy.
Kevin is an Adjunct Professor and guest lecturer on terrorism and counterterrorism at
various area universities and is an active member of the International Association for
Counterterrorism & Security Professionals.
